I’ve got an older GEO 6x24 that I was Trying to bring back on line. It sat unused for probably 8 or 9 years. I tested It and water was slowly leaking from around the Uniseal. Replaced It with a fresh one thinking it was all dried out. Same issue.

Thoughts?
Solutions?

Thanks

Maybe grease up the uniseal a bit? Shouldn't be difficult to install. Check for cracks in the acrylic perhaps

I did Apply a thin, dare I say, bead of saltwater safe grease, but maybe I need A bit more. I dont Think there’s a crack anywhere. It holds water but when it’s pressurized to the point that it’s running, that’s when the leak happens. Maybe I’ll reach out to GEO.

Thanks for the help

I had the same issue the other day when I replaced the pump. I bought new uniseals anyway-not in use yet-but for the one that was there I used some silicone lube, the thick Dow MolyKote stuff, worked like a charm and no leaks.
