Ca rx offline storage

Im shutting down my ca rx for a month. I just turned everything off i relation to the reactor. Is it ok to leave the media in the reactor where the ph is 6.7? Do i have to worry about the media turning to mush if it just sits in the 6.7 ph undisturbed?

Turn off the CO2 and turn up the flow. The pH will normalize with the tank and the media will stay intact. I have had mine "offline" like this for 2 months.

Exactly, flush the CO2 out and even though you have everything off, you could turn on the feed pump and run the reactor every week just to keep the water from going bad or just leave it running without CO2. I’d do the latter if it were me.

BTW, very nice tank and build thread. May I ask why you’re shutting off the reactor?
