Cabbage leather toxic to Xenia?

So.. I got a cabbage leather before learning that it can release bad toxins if close to other corals… how bad would it be to be close to a Xenia though? Which are so hardy? Could they be on the same (largish) rock together? Trying to figure out it’s placement is confusing! Thanks!

An irritated leather releases toxins into water column. Close by mine killed an anemone but impacted our whole tank despite running charcoal trying to counteract. We traded our leather (gotten big & loved it!) at LFS for store credit, and within days our tank began improving (and turned charcoal off).

NOTE: our xenia was least impacted in tank despite being within 8-12"
