Hello "all" been in the Salt water hobbieHobby for 4 months now and am having a great time learning and reasearching.We had Freshwater tank for 7 yrs and got out of it becasue of a move and not wanting to tear down the tank so it sold with our last house. I have had the chance to meet some really cool people in my local town that share my newly found intrest in saltwater.. A little bit about myself I am a Engineer for a big Cable company here in Indaiana I have been there going on 11 yrs. I Have been blessed by God with my Lovley wife of 16yrs We have two beautiful Children 1 17 Yr old Son Seth and one 15 yr old Daughter My princess Miss Siarra. A little about my set up. I currently am running two salt tanks one is a 75 Gallon reef with 110 lbs of live rock 30lbs is Totoka and the 80 lbs is Fiji rock, and 80 lbs of Live sand. I am running a 4bulb T5HO light
with a 20 gallon wet/dry sump with Bio Balls and Live rock in it, a Protein Skimmer, In tank UV Sterilizer and a Over the back Breeder and also A over the back 60 gallon dual filter We have 7 fish and 4 anemones a sand sifting starfish. I also am running a 30 Gallon Quarenteen Tank that had Pvc pieces it it and that is about it I had some live rock in it for the cycle process.
We are currently in the process of seting up a big display tank the wll be a 200 + Gallon.It will be set up with a complet end overflow and will be used as a 3 sided room divider display tank that is at Eye level.
