CAD light artisan II center beam

Hi all,

I am putting together the stand for CAD light 70 G.
As I am about to put the center beam I found that it is like 5 mm shorter than the height of the stand...
My question is, can I just don't put the beam at all?

Wow. That sucks. I have the same cabinet. You can use wedges to make it fit, but I think you'll be fine without it. I think it's real purpose is to hide the light from within. But seriously, you should be good without it. It's up to you. I always thought about removing mine.

The side wall is supporting the top panel, but there are four ~ 1mm gaps between the extruding beams and the top.
I screwed all the nail to bottom and fitted all the predrilled holes...

I hope even if the top deform some, the beams can than catch the top..

Very good eye. Looks like it's around the entire top. Make sure you have it built right. Now I'm thinking that it may not be put together properly. Better safe thank sorry.

I will double check. I did match those predrilled holes, may be I should remove the two side bolts and try to hammer the top down a little bit.

All done, end up using Acrylic sheets to fill the gaps, glued the PVC, water test tomorrow [emoji16]

When you put water in the tank you'll see the gap go away. Mine was the same way, I just tightened the screws well after putting everything in my tank. The stand is pretty solid.

Thanks, all the chips fit tight so I assume it should be fine. I can't get them out without taking the stand apart anyway

I'm sorry to bother but I just found out the soft return tubing is leaking water from the place where it connects to the hard PVC from the tank. The PVC comes smooth not barbed.
Did it happen to yours? What can I do to fix it?

Hi. Are you sure it's coming from the tube and not the pvc pipe between the drilled hole? I did not have this problem. However, I did have leakage as a result of the pipes not being tightly turned.
So, is the water coming out when the return pump is on or is coming out once the overflow is filled? One thing I did was connect the plastic pipe first before I screwed the pvc to the connecting pipe.
