About a year ago I purchased the CAD Light PLS-50 Elite II skimmer for my JBJ45. It fits perfectly and seems to be a quality product.
The only issue I've had with the skimmer is the pump. I've already had to replace it once (in less than a year) -- and I've already had some issues with the replacement pump.
Question: Is there a source for pumps that can work with setups like this one -- or is it necessary to go to the manufacturer? Sadly, CAD Light has dropped the ball on customer service (my experience as well as that of many others -- per this forum). The pump is a small simple design with an attached air hose nipple. Interestingly, this replacement pump is not even featured on the CAD Light web site -- strange!!!
