During renovation, I decided to downsize my 180 to a 60 cube. A year ago last January, I purchased the tank, stand and sump. Due to renovations, it wasn't until April that I had gotten around to setting up the new tank. Looked great! This past weekend, I noticed the stand appears to be sagging near a front/middle support. The stand now has me frightened of failure, injury or worse to a pet or family member, damage to my home and contents. I expressed these things directly to the company and this was the response:

Hello, I purchased a tank, sump and stand just over a year ago and the stand
is already in serious danger of a catestrophic failure. I have many photos
which show the danger in this and just now, I'm seeing multiple posts all
over the forums of similar or same issues. How does the company wish to
respond to this issue? I have just taken several photos of this and it
concerns me because I'm out of town so much for work. It scares me to think
of a failure while I'm out of town, potential injury to my wife or kid and
damage to my home.

Hello Derrick,
Thank you for your email. I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with your stand. Rest assured issues that have been posted on the forums have been addressed in private messages. In order for us to look into your stand, could you please forward over any pictures you have along with a copy of your original invoice and we will address them the best we can. i look forward to your response.
Thank you.

Hi Derrick,
Thank you for the photos, after inspection of the photos it does look like the damage was due to constant moisture or contact with water. the MDF cabinets do require further maintenance than our artisan stands. Unfortunately the warranty has passed, however We are willing to replace the cabinet for you, and you would only be responsible for the cost of shipping, which is $199. Otherwise you can purchase a new one online for $250 and shipping would be $150. Please let me know how you would like to proceed. I look forward to your response. Thank you.

Who makes aquarium stands which won't withstand moisture in the sump area and is intolerant of contact with water? Unbelievable!

You make it sound as if you really gave me a great option. Shipping was $199 or I could buy a new one for $250.. yeah. I still have the email so when it crashes and damages my home or injures a family member, I'll let my insurance reach out to you. Here's your unaltered response.
