CADE aquariums - Longevity

That's odd. The left door looks like it's to high all the way. I was going to say your tank is not level but now I am not so sure anymore. What is the bottom gap like on the left door? How far is that hinging pin in the hole? Have you measured the frame size of the stand and doors? I got a 1800 and my doors align perfect.
Correct....unfortunately it is like that all the way across all four doors....each one is at a different height. Stand and tank are perfectly level. The couple of Cade tanks I have seen in person are all just like this.....maybe you got lucky....or we got unlucky lol. The bottom gap on the left door is larger but fortunately you can't see the bottoms due to them being down so low. I haven't gotten as far as measuring the connection points yet only because it won't be worth it to attempt to remove and reattach. I will do that tonight just out of curiosity. I also have a 1800.

If that bottom gap is bigger than I would asume the doors are the same size, so you have to work out why that door is not sitting lower. That's why I said is that pin that is the hinge all the way in. Something is obstructing it from being 3 mm lower.

Yeah, all pins are seated correctly.....bottom and top. I really can't explain why it is off....doesn't make any sense. I will have to take a bunch of measurements to determine the cause.

Just put a washer or 2 on the bottom pin until it lines up with the other doors, I did this and all the doors are level now.

Good idea....didn't even think about going that route. Thanks.
