Wake up, walk Skeletor, make coffee, feed box, sit on the couch across the room from the tank with a long string in my hand.

IDK how I got wrapped into this

Today is basic maintenance day - refill any dosing containers, refill oxydator, clear out ats, refill ato, target feed all lps, WC on quarantine tank, WC on the 3 little tanks, etc.

Rough batch of quarantine. Whatever was going on with the timor spread up it's body and it passed. Nugget seemed fine but died without warning. Fairy & cbb doing well still though - fairy eats like a champ, cbb picks but definitely eats. Hoping blackworms get it going - LFS should have them in Tuesday for me. Also hoping they encourage the China to eat better as well.

Speaking of, China has zero signs of damage now. Wakes up with the rest of the tank but is still in bed before I get home from work every day.

Curious to see if any dynamic of the tank changes with the chocolate pulled.

I'm sure I'll have photos to upload throughout the day as I work on everything.

She's disappeared already

I turned the plank feeder back on once I caught the chocolate, water flow takes the food that way in the water column when it feeds. I wonder if the other fish getting all excited for that feeding is what's spooking the China.

I pulled some from the 4g this morning for it! So far nothing I've noticed but they're still all closed up because I spooked them switching tanks (I assume)

As China settles they will be out. In qt tanks she may never fully settle. Mine just started staying up late but in a 40b with sand bed and live rock. Patience

How does the Klir decide when to roll fleece? It seems to turn on before sensor.

Interesting, should be based on the water level hitting the sensor. I've heard people say snails & debris have triggered theirs though. I try to clean it each time I switch rolls. My dirty rolls are always very well saturated, no signs of premature trigger
