I ordered 2 black and white clownfish and got a free normal one like yours. My free one was the size I expected (~1") but the black and white ones were tiny like your freebie. One was DOA, the other died before the next day, and the freebie died a day later...
The replacement black and white for the DOA was about 1" and still doing great.

I know they offer free things if you spend a certain amt, you just have to add the coupon code for whichever you want but I didn't add one for anything. That's the confusion. I didn't spend enough to qualify to begin with. And I wouldn't have picked another clown either way....

Oh I didn't think you were being rude. Was saltwaterfish - they generally have a "spend 199 pick one of these things free and add the coupon code" but I didn't spend that much, or add any codes.

Some notes:

CBB and brunneus love blackworms.
New china and old cannot be bothered with them. All of the fish in the main tank except old China are very excited about them.

Added more pods to the tank yesterday.

New china is very active, starting around 8pm. Sleeping during the day. Still haven't gotten it to eat for sure but it looks like it's picking at all the walls so I'm gonna pop a little masstick in there late tonight.

Old china still picks sporadically at food, hoping it'll start eating better soon, it looks like it's starting to lose a little weight.

Edit: emailed sellers to see what/how they feed since these guys got here FAT.

Frozen mysis is what they're used to. Since the only mysis I have is mixed into reef frenzy, I picked up some plain cubes at work last night.

Thawed out with a little oyster juice & selcon and added this morning while the auto feeder had everyone else distracted & the China I've had longer ate a *little* - not enough to make me happy, but I did definitely see her eating some. Dainty is right.

She is starting to explore a little more, I caught her picking at some rocks and stuff too.

I am kind of interested in the red one after my bta moved.. I haven't bit the bullet, as my lobo was showing some issues. Once it recovers. I'll probably go for it. If it is still there. Those guys get meat corals in all the time. They always sell too.

Yep, mid may. 17th.

My lobo is flighty too, I'm honestly considering rehoming it. But I have 3 cynarina and 3 acanthophyllia that are all doing fantastic.

I'll have to bookmark them, I've never ordered from them before.
