I've been picking away at some of the old frag plugs from when this rock was in the big tank and slowly getting them removed. There's still this one that is cemented in heavily right above the MB I will get it eventually.

Picked up a very fluffy St Thomas. Didn't come home with anything else but he had some very droolworthy plate sized chalices.

Right now, not so fluffy. But it easily took up this plate extended from where it is. I'm hoping it will move over to the rock I propped it against.

In other news, I recently discovered that while I distain vodka, I adore gin.

I ignored it for years assuming it would just be more of the same.

My husband was surprised to learn I'd never touched it prior to our anniversary this year.

Apparently it "fits my type"

The Botanist Gin from Bruichladdich is the best. Stay away from that peasant vodka stuff.

Instead of well water? That's a lot of work for whole house. I'm personally not concerned, they usually dig deep enough there's no issues other than crazy water hardness because FL and we're already planning on running something anyway post well, pre rodi so we're not burning through everything. I think maybe he just needs to figure out how elaborate of a system he wants? IDK

The botanist really is delicious. I keep Hendricks on hand. I normally will not drink liquor. I do like gin though.
