Fish order safely made it to the Tampa hub.

Little table is still scheduled to arrive today.
New fish are exciting! Hopefully they will arrive home safely. Can’t wait to see the table

I have to run to the store to pick up some vetericyn for one of the quail, she looks like she's starting molt and not taking it well at all - over preened a ton of feathers under one of her wings and ended up bloody. Silly girl.

Today's fish are out for delivery. Hopefully they all arrive healthy.

Little table arrives today, need to go dig for sand before I go pick up the vetericyn so I can determine if I'll need to buy some while I'm out or not.

Had to order sand, I can't justify buying a 20lb bag of black to need only like 5lb. It'll be here tomorrow.

Today I can get the table built, get the tank set up on it, start mixing a little water. I plan to pull the water for the pico from the cube and just replace the cube water with new.

Tomorrow if work doesn't destroy me, I'll get the sand rinsed and do the water swaps. Probably let it run for a day to ensure nothing crazy happens and then move over the few things I know are going in there (mushroom Buddha & the minimaxi rock).

Do you have good luck with the black sand long term? I thought I read that most don't like the black sand, or was that freshwater black sand, now I'm confused. Moar coffee...
My lifegard pico ran black sand the entire duration and I had no problems with it. I like the way my minimaxis pop against it more than white. I'm not sure I'd do a big tank black though... or a tank with fish.... the detritus is somehow more noticeable in black than white

Maybe run a magnet through it while rinsing just to be safe. I have read some types can have some kind of deposits in it.

Yeah, I did that last time with no issues luckily.... I think it definitely depends on the brand. I'll check this one too to be safe.

Both wrasse and my worm arrived healthy and happy. Temp acclimating for a min so I can finish watering my plants then check salinity and go from there.

Redline hiding, the other two still out and about.

Tiny tank table set up. Everything is ready to go once the sand arrives, just waiting for that and time.

Started baking a cake. Going to go read a book.

Table! Table! Table!

Sorry I am the worst. I've had a migraine on and off since Tuesday so I'm having a horrific time remembering anything.

Just sat down with hubs to watch tonight's drop of The Boys.

Took tomorrow off since I feel like dirty dog water. If I'm lucky I'll feel better tomorrow and can finish getting the tank set up and get a photo for you all of the table and everything.
