No one has found her yet.

Can't get a good photo of sticks because fish swarm the glass when I'm in the center like that, but polyps are out and everyone seems to be okay.

Can't get a good photo of the button scolys because of the angle. But here's what I can get in their current locale. Everything in this will be moved eventually.

Me: I'm going to set this mirror here so that I can use it to lure the chocolate tang into one spot and catch her more easily when it's time to move her into the sump.

Also me: *searches house for 3 hours looking for mirror* :upside-down-face:

...is that a gator under that tree??...:p
Congrats again...;Happy
and... no worries ,the older ya' get ,the better you'll get at losing things...;):beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

It's Florida, so probably :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
Did find a gopher tortoise shell.

Couple updates: China's mouth looks swollen today?

Timor came out of iso sand for the first time since Thursday.

Contemplating pulling china & putting in iso where it's a lot calmer so I can make sure she's eating enough. She's pecking, but seems to be a really timid eater so I'm nervous. Side is starting to look a *lot* better though.

Opinions? Should I iso her to ensure she gets eating better?

Not starting treatment in that tank until Wednesdays delivery. Planned internal treatments & prazi. No copper this round since more sensitive fish.

Edit: 30 min later mouth looks fine. No idea what's going on there.

would wait a day on making the iso decision ,just keep eye on today...;Watching;):)

So long as china is eating, healing, in the sand at night and not visibly distraught, I wouldn't pull it out yet personally.

With that said, You know your tank and your fish, your Gut Feeling is probably best to go with. There may be subtleties with it. You see it and we can't.

If you think China is eating then I would leave her. Watch her belly if possible. Also try to feed a few smaller feeding when you feed. They are slower eaters but over time it should start to eat faster as they learn.
Great to hear Timor came out of bed

Question while we're in Freedom wrasse conversation, I've noticed mine often being yawney for lack of a better word. Is that normal of the species?
That's what I was seeing I think when I thought there was mouth swelling. I watched awhile longer and randomly noticed it

Not sure but I see sand sleepers yawn, scratch and flash that have been qt’ed and definitely clean. Even my dog yawns and doesn’t have flukes. I don’t use those signs as a way to know if fish has a parasite
Even white string poop on new fish I don’t go by as it usually goes away.

Wrasses that "chew" their food do tend to yawn more than other wrasses.

Good stuff. I have seen it mostly in the morning when they come out of the sand, and after feeding so this all tracks.

Thanks Salty!
I love watching them chew. Makes me giggle. Nice to know why some yawn now
When they do it, I make an Opera Laaaaaaaa sound in my head.

No judging.

Couple updates:

Next time I see my black urchin I'm popping her in the sump. I think she's the one knocking apart my rock work at random.

Watched China closely during feeding today and while active and near the food, not 100% sure she ate any. I have tomorrow off to pay closer attention.

Headed to Publix today or tomorrow to get the little neck clams & such for my replacement cbb that should be arriving tomorrow (& anyone else in qt that might be struggling to eat upon arrival). Hoping to stop by my LFS that occasionally has blackworms so I can grab those as well.

No luck on the chocolate, watched the brat halfway swim into the trap but it's a little too small so backed out. Bigger one comes today.

Timor came out yesterday morning for a little bit when I posted, but was hiding again by the time I left for work. Have not seen her out yet today. Giant wuss.

Should get the word today on if the dusky brunneus is coming or not. Fingers crossed.

It's amazing how fast they can heal. I'm still sore from carrying in groceries last week...
I hear you, I twisted my wrist the wrong way yesterday with a 7lb bag of cat food in my hand and I don't know if I'll ever be the same :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
