Cade Chaos Grimoire

Got a call this afternoon to go to work on my day off.

Not to my store, to meet with the auditor at another location :)

If anyone has been around awhile, I've been mentoring w/ the manager of their dept in hopes to get into their dept once a spot opens so this was a great opportunity.
Please let us know how it goes a fantastic opportunity

Went out to the property today. Met the neighbors behind us, they have bloodhounds & one is pregnant. Want.

Met the neighbor across the street from us, very nice & very chatty.

As a former bloodhound owner of 3, you might not want. They are so scent driven that training is extremely difficult, requires very secure fencing and drool like crazy. But they are lovable and one of a kind for personalities.

Oh I love them, but as a pet retail person: I don't really want a puppy lol

We do plan to add more greyhounds to the family when we relocate though

I was thinking.. she was miserable after 3.5 minutes.
I reluctantly introduced myself because my husband is way more social than me and had already introduced himself.

Well your getting off on the right foot. Wonder how they respond once they see the blue glow at night.

Ideally they won't. We want to keep as many of the trees & stuff as we can. & The house is planned for 100ft back into the property

Yep I'm done with years of large dog mess, after my last one passed we switched breeds. I only keep 2 mini Dachshunds now and they are so much easier, lol. All the hound in 10lb packages!

I have more doxies than I would care to admit.

I'll stick with my big hounds :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

I like little dogs just fine, but.... Idk. They're way more Yippy & I'm not a fan of that. I like quiet.

Greyhounds: quiet, no excessive fur, no excessive drool, appropriately sized.

We go for walks, we have a yard for zooms if wanted. We meet at a brewery once a month to hang out with more of their kind - Greyhound idea of fun together is sniffing other dog butts, walking from human to human for pets, and laying around.

They sound great! My weenies only bark if someone knocks, which isn't very often, and my old senior weenie barks when I get home, but the bloodhounds would bark AT EVERYTHING, any noise, any fart in the wind, a bug in the grass, thier shadow.... I much prefer the quieter breeds. Are your hounds retired or just the breed? Do they still race dogs anymore? They seem like relaxed cool pups. I used to have a whole farm outside, the kind that makes lots of noise when you go out to feed, goats I milked, horses, chickens ducks and geese. Now I've got super quiet fish that don't make any peeps when I feed..... ahhhh the sound of quiet..... wait.... I have kids, its not quiet.... unless they're sleeping... like they are now. Lol. Not crazy, I'm not. (Yes I am)

My boy is retired. There is no racing in Florida anymore, but our local group pulls Irish retirees now. so as soon as we have the new house built we intend to get a couple more.
