I spent the entirety of my day at home reading and hanging out with my human & pup. I made mustard & deviled eggs. Matt went to Publix and got me a red velvet cake to enjoy later. I never went to the LFS - they annoyed me lol.

Engineer is wreaking havoc again.

Tank cloudy all day every day.

Nitrates spiking.

But hey... That one patch of sand is nice and sparkly white

Mine is over a foot now and my water is rarely clear but as you say the sparkly white sand is lovely!

My big green acantho is suddenly in the middle of the tank. I have no idea what's going on.

Got my most recent test set back, need to dose a whole 17ml of mag this month to bring it back up.
Other than that, the only thing lately that's consistently low is flouride.

Did catch that my alk started spiking so working on adjusting that back down, way higher than I typically see & i caught it on a random hanna check as well last week before I even got these results back so I know it's correct.

Cleaned the sump today.

Don't forget to clean your skimmer necks.....

Bet you that smelled really good. I take an old tooth brush and kinda clean that when I clean the cup out. It mixed in the foam and skimmed out from there.

No idea. I'm so congested I can't smell anything. That's why I decided to go ahead and do it today. No complaints from the husband though

A little redistribution of sand today. The bubble coral was stinging my green acantho so I moved it back to its normal location and moved the bubble into the back corner of the tank. My red cynarina (I think) is the one who was stinging the crap out of my red Xenia so I separated the two of them. Everyone got some target feed. Sump got a deep clean, skimmer got a deep clean.

Engineer goby is probably big mad.

It is very cloudy from all of the ruckus.

The last time I deep cleaned my skimmer, it took over a week to break back in. I've decided I will not be doing that again.

Mine was so filthy The bubbles couldn't make it past the buildup in the neck

Oh, I'm assuming he was helped along with the engineer goby messing with the sand in the area he normally exists in. But it can scoot a little bit as it inflates and deflates.
