Today's plans are : undo the plumbing on the cade, silicone in the additional block in the cube sump so I can set up the roller, maybe test some stuff to see how I'm sitting while I contemplate ordering at least the yellow fiji.....?

People suck. This is why no one wants to work with the public anymore. Too many disrespectful selfish people out there. I hope your coworker drags her butt back to work tomorrow. You deserve a break.2 of my team out with covid, I'm working at least 6 days this week, I'm salary so I don't *really* get paid for it. Not to mention I don't think I've left on time a single day and I worked straight through my "breaks." Snowbirds are back, we're super busy, they're not bumping our labor to accommodate.
One of them is my ASL who got sick while she was on her 2 week vacation. In fact, she's well past the company policy for quarantine but she's refusing to come back because she's "afraid of regressing" like her BF did when he was up 32 hours straight without sleeping and spiked a new fever.
On Wednesday she claimed she'd be back tomorrow, if she isn't and I have to 9a-10p close my store that day to work my shift and cover hers as well I might finally snap on someone.
This week we had the neighboring store get robbed and the guy try to hide his loot in our building, then get followed in and tackled by cops in our building.
I've been threatened to be sued multiple times by the same woman who insists we hurt her dog - the vet even looked at the dog and said the only injuries on him are consistent with the prong collar she brought him in to the vet appt with. Nothing on him whatsoever looks like a grooming injury. I have another woman threatening to sue us because she doesn't have an Rx for her dogs food so we won't let her buy it.
I'm so ready to quit. I'm too tired for this ****.
I hate to be on the people suck train….. buts it’s just true. I try to find and surround myself with people that still make me feel positive about humanity, but it’s super tough when you work with the public. Add the general trend towards laziness and grown adult children who refuse to do anything, and it just so grim when it comes to the general workforce and servicing people. Everyone is so “fragile” now. My husband and I were actually talking about how we hate that our kids have to grow up in this time. Hopefully we don’t suck as parents and end up contributing to the trend. I’m going to do my very best to prevent that from happening. Drink of choice to help take the edge off. Cheers and good luck!People suck. This is why no one wants to work with the public anymore. Too many disrespectful selfish people out there. I hope your coworker drags her butt back to work tomorrow. This.
I homeschool my kids because schools are so toxic in my area and I don't want a bunch of ruined kids.
@danieyella I can't even imagine the kind of thick skin you must have for dealing with the "stoopids".
I DO NOT deal well with peoples. I've perfected my resting b---- face so no one wants to talk to me. So far it's working.
