Cade Chaos Grimoire

Interesting.

Friday they told me same lead time for the feeding insert as the lid. I asked them to cancel and refund because their website didn't specify that for the cups as well.

They didn't respond.

Today I got a "so sorry for the delay, we shipped on Friday" :thinking-face:
At least it's on its way. I don't appreciate games like that.

I'm so over their garbage. I never should have ordered the 2nd thing. I absolutely will not use them again or recommend them to anyone. It's clearly a regular practice for them since both orders have been stupid like this. I thought maybe the lid situation was a one-off but nah

Are you going to respond: "Please issue a refund, if you provide return shipping I'll send it back."?

Oh, let’s not bring up pineapples please. I don’t think I shared the story from when I hosted the fish club summer social in June.
Fish club right?! Fish and tropical theme.
So I made this cute little watermelon fish and palm tree made out of pineapples with fruit underneath. See pictures below. The summer social is more like a party than an average fish club meeting. Half way through the night one of the wives says to me: “we need to become friends and get together other than fish club meetings. You know maybe go out for lunch or dinner or swap partners. “.
Me: “wa..wa..what?! No , no, we don’t do that “
Wife: “ ok, but I’m just throwing it out there”

Talked to my daughter the next day and told her about it. She asks me if I by any chance had any pineapple. She tells me pineapples are code for swingers! I didn’t know this.!! Now it makes more sense.
No more pineapple at my parties!!

Stupid feeder insert thing out for delivery :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

I guess if anything, I've learned "cancel my order and send me a refund" is the way to get them to actually acknowledge you sent them an order 3-9 weeks prior.

In laws are out of town for the weekend. We're on Grandma duty.

She left Matt a note while he was working "just letting him know" the newspapers are hers. She then came out around 3pm upset because he didn't bring it to her yet.... Guess the note was a hint (he's work from home).

Anyway.

Tank.

Gotta tell grandma I'm headed to work about 30 min early to contend with her freakout since Matt went to the junkyard this morning and I can't tell her a specific time he'll be back.

She tells everyone who will listen that she's doesn't need to be here, she's perfectly capable of taking care of herself. BUT, she has a panic attack if she's in the house alone. She has a life alert button, a list of phone numbers to call if she needs someone, etc.

Anyway, he's headed to get me a new back hatch because whomever owned this car before me did a good job hiding a bondo fix and now a few years later it's starting to fail and crack again & an xterra in the same gen and color hit the junkyard recently. Hopefully the back is in good condition.

I also want to swap my headlights and do a variety of things to the body - plastidip in motor oil color, restore or dip all the plastic bumper/etc parts of it, redo my wheels in a bronze or brass color, etc etc.

One day our house will be done and we'll have a garage for all the car stuff we want to do. Maybe I'll go check on it tomorrow, they locked us out :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Yeah. They're supposed to put one of those real estate code things on the door so workers etc can get in and it's on the invoice for our appliances. Husband's dad is the one who realized they locked all the doors. We're assuming they just didn't install that yet when he was there. We haven't been over there since we sent the email to them about their crap work and the dumpster/insane debris situation.

Car painter here, to refresh faded bumpers or any of the black plastic trim or other basic black painted things (grille, bump trim, mirrors etc) depends on the level of fade. If they are so faced that they are shedding plastic, like if you wipe your hand on them and stuff comes off, then it's too far gone, nothing will want to stick on that long term. But if it's just a mild fade then usually after prep (clean, tape and clean again) use a bumper/trim paint. Very easy. I used to do this all the time for a big car lot hubs and I worked for. Makes everything look brand new. Even easier if you can remove the thing you need to paint, no taping needed.
Can totally help you if you need any advice or product recommendations down the road.

Many places will have this paint, even specialty auto paint stores carry this too, if there's one around.

Thanks, will look into that. They're not so far gone that they're shedding. We did one of those basic "plastic restore" things and it looked great for a few weeks then faded right back so clearly it needs more than what we used lol

Yeah, not super excited about that. Matt watches enough of lockpick lawyer or whoever the hell that guy is that he's confident he could pick the lock if they don't switch it to that real estate thingy. I am holding out hope that they just hadn't hit that point yet. Maybe we'll find out tomorrow.
