Cade Chaos Grimoire

Did not end up needing to take him to the vet, luckily the part that separated came off completely so there's no risk of it catching and causing more damage. entire underside of the nail on that toe has quick exposed. Poor noodle. But he seems back to normal today and isn't limping or anything.

He's gonna be very disappointed when we leave tomorrow morning, but at least he's been living here for a month now so it's not like he's in a new place while we're gone as well.

See you guys in a week. Maybe sooner if I get bored.

We have 5 storms brewing in the Atlantic.

Stay safe @Lost in the Sauce & any other cali friends. If you need any FL advice text me - I gotchu (hint: the secret is booze)

The Atlantic Ocean has decided not to be outdone by the Pacific. And in a matter of days has attempted to catch up.

Also, lol Gert. What a name.

Just be safe whichever ocean you prefer.
Didn't make the list again :angry-face: (these are the atlantic ones only) Pretty interesting the history of the naming process and all the info on NOAA.

You can keep your earthquakes. I prefer the hurricanes

Emily is already a post-tropical cyclone, nine is headed to Texas, Gert is expected to dissipate at any time, Franklin is probably going to get broken up pretty heavily when it hits the islands.

We got an update and some dates.

Tile is expected to start being laid September 1st.

Granite countertops go in September 8th.

The builder filled out the construction loan extension request, and had to put in their reasonings for delays. They stated that there were shortages in labor for drywall and for tiling. The extension loan request granted 90 days maximum, they had to put a completion date, and they put the completion for the end of the 90 days. But this is the first time we have in writing a completion date.

Father-in-law drove by and confirmed that *some* tile is dropped off and sitting in front of the house.

He also confirmed that while the dumpster has been emptied and replaced, nobody has cleaned up any of the mess sitting around

It's very possible I go do it myself once we get home.

Oh, and of course.... Tank has been running smooth since we moved in with them.

The night we leave, the filter roller jams up  :upside-down-face:

They're gonna have to clean up some of the mess the subcontractors left in order to put in a driveway. Pretty excited about that at least lol

So many moon jellys around the beach this week. Yesterday we counted 10 in our immediate area.

The resort put up a warning that man-o-wars were spotted in the area and washing up on shore but I've seen zero signs of them. Just moon jellys.

Update round two: many beer bottle caps, 2 tent pegs, a rock, a bit of foil, part of a pill wrapper, and most importantly : part of a magnum condom wrapper.

Such treasure.
