I’ve used garlic oil to soak food a couple times… tank smells delish and my skimmer goes nuts!

I’ve used garlic oil to soak food a couple times… tank smells delish and my skimmer goes nuts!

This is what I was doing before our temporary stint with the in-laws while we wait on the house. Definitely works. But trying not to stink them out

I tried literally crushing garlic in a vice for its oil to put in my DIY fish food. Worked pretty well actually.

My hair appt for this morning got rescheduled to next week, not upset - I packed my week too full this week to begin with.

Back to work tomorrow. Friday is a half-day plus tattoo. Saturday is work again.

Builders scheduled the "Final Walkthrough" for Dec 19th. But there's been no preliminary walkthrough or punch-out so we think the office girl misworded it.

Getting close?!

Hopefully they knock it all out fast. Sometimes our houses sit for a little while with minimal work and then when it gets close to the end, everything comes together really quickly. I really hope that is the case for yours.

Final mechanical inspection was called for today.. Still missing 2 appliances, still waiting on 4 other inspection calls but the county has been out within 24hrs of the call every time so far.

Still need to paint some things and touch up some other things they patched.

They did some *weird* shi with the back splash - I'll get a photo when we're there today with the landscaper..

We plan to do a lot of fl native so I'm sure the landscapers won't be able to help.
We're going to tell them bare minimum sod, and if they have a bay laurel tree we want one of those in lol. We'll do the rest ourselves.

Fauna Marin soft pellets also a huge win with the tank. I got the clownfish ones and the spirulina ones.
