Oh, I got some fish food against reviews because its basically just shredded nori in different species. A ton of people said their fish have no interest. My fish LOVE it. Hooray.

Picked it up with my fish food restock from brs - reviews there were sketchy. Fish love it. When I get home later I'll take a picture of the way it looks, little shreds instead of "flakes"

Basically does look like straight nori. Interesting. My fish prefer the nori that breaks off the clip and chase it around the tank.

My hair appt for this morning got rescheduled to next week, not upset - I packed my week too full this week to begin with.

Back to work tomorrow. Friday is a half-day plus tattoo. Saturday is work again.

Builders scheduled the "Final Walkthrough" for Dec 19th. But there's been no preliminary walkthrough or punch-out so we think the office girl misworded it.

What to do about the lights on the tank.....

Reefi uno pros if you wanna go led… amazing lights that smoke radions and half the price!

Pulled up to meet the landscapers - see Hernando county sheriff, the builders, 2 electrician vehicles all pulled up ....

Electricians came to do the hot test, discovered cut wiring up in the attic.

Not expected to be much of a delay, thankfully. Couple days they think to rewire the area that was cut.

Because of this I completely forgot to take a photo of the crazy tile they need to replace. BUT the superintendent that was there from the builders asked us if there was anything specific we wanted to call out as they go through their own punchlists before the walk and we said yeah let's look at this back splash and the look on his face when he saw it was great.

Edit: apparently FIL got a photo when he was over there one day. The tiny piece they cut out - into a solid piece. (Why?!) On both sides of the window.

We're assuming they wanted to frame around the window and that was their reasoning - it looks ridiculous.

Same, in fact I was shredding up nori myself because they mostly ignore the bigger pieces when I put them in there. This is a less labor intensive option for me instead lol

I have a reefbreeders light that covers most of the tank, just needs a little supplement in front of it. Are these something that can supplement or a wholeass light system on their own? (I'll look it up later, don't feel obligated to expand on that part lol)

They are their own stand alone lights.. reefbreeders would be my second choice! If you’re just looking to supplement them then I’d run some reefbrite Xho! I’m shocked how they actually don’t get drowned out on my tank with all the metal halides blasting my tank! They look much better than t5’s I tried out..

I just got my Reef Breeders Pico light in the mail about a half an hour ago.

They are their own stand alone lights.. reefbreeders would be my second choice! If you’re just looking to supplement them then I’d run some reefbrite Xho! I’m shocked how they actually don’t get drowned out on my tank with all the metal halides blasting my tank! They look much better than t5’s I tried out..

Have you seen the Quantra Pros? Apparently they blow Reefbrite out of the water in build quality and performance. I'm considering ditching my T5 supplementals and adding two of those.

Fresh ginger, "real" cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper, molasses, allspice, clove, brown sugar, vanilla, water.

Have you seen the Quantra Pros? Apparently they blow Reefbrite out of the water in build quality and performance. I'm considering ditching my T5 supplementals and adding two of those.

I have seen those.. a good friend of mine sold me his reef brites when he got those to supplement his reefi uno’s.. nice lights! But the pop and par that reefbrites put out is much higher than the quanta. I’m Sps dominated and didn’t wanna chance them getting over run by my halides.. those on their own are pretty nice.

Dark roast coffee with Baileys, Kahlua, Frangelico, and that syrup. You're welcome.

we use cold brew, mr black, vodka, and usually basil syrup but will be testing with this one. that sounds good though

I've been seeing this brand pop up a lot, sending him a message about my situation to see what he'd recommend. Might be in the running.
