I ended up getting it finally, once I finally got fed up and demanded a refund it magically was able to ship next day. I got no communication the entire process like their website promises, I saw another user making that complaint recently as well...

It fits, it's nice - it wasn't worth the drama of dealing with them if you're not an instagram fish influencer though.... those seem to be the only people who get the treatment they advertise.
What is getting me is why are they pretending to be all these people? When I was first talking to Tyler I told him exactly what I wanted and where the doors should go. During the measuring phase I even sent them a diagram with where I wanted the feed doors. They sent me a generic email with the 3D model and its nothing like what we originally talked about. These emails are coming from yet another fake person. So I go to their stupid form and make the changes, then they send the EXACT SAME EMAIL with the link to the form again. Each time I look at the model it's NOTHING like what we talked about. We are on model 3 now. what the heck is going on? So the original texts back and forth to Tyler were a waste of time. None of that mattered, the form for measurements and that email were all for nothing. So I wrote back because none of this is right and am tired of the generic same email and model. Now I am being ghosted I guess because I haven't heard back. I think if you refuse to submit or reject the form and just email the issues he ignores you. Now that we are at the model phase though I really can't cancel. What a weird company.

Why not? Have you sent the money? I’d demand a refund and go with someone else. I’ve read great things with Kraken. That’s who I plan to use once I come up with the cash.

That's odd too. So I used their online chat, and tyler texted me. We went over sizes, I sent photos and a diagram. To get the 3D model you have to pay. He sent me a link via email with a pay button. I paid. After 24 hours, of course nothing is done in 24 hrs, they keep 30%. So when I tried to cancel he told me they were going to keep 30% in my case $130. No model, no nothing, but they keep 30%. It's on their website so that's on me. Now that there is a model no cancellations at all.

Timeline was:

Via text send measurements, where doors will go and photos/diagram.
5 days later, generic email with links to videos on how to measure and a form that requires pictures of tape measure.
Form is not for a Eurobraced tank have questions, no one answers emails.
Day 7 I try to cancel via email and immediately get a text explaining they will keep $130.
I struggle taking photos of tape measure on tank to fill out form. Send email saying form is wrong please use my diagram.
Day 8 email generic email with 3D model completely different from what Tyler and I talked about.
3 models in I get texts from Tyler emails from Fred, I think they are the same person.

They have sent the model three times now today and all three times it's not right. So when you talk to tyler and you send him measurements and all that, he doesn't do anything with them. It' a giant waste of time to get money from you. That's why the models are not right. To say I am displeased is being nice. Decided to screw it, put in a order for a Clear View lid because this is a steaming pile of garbage at this point and I want something that fits. I really really wish they would have just given my money back. They don't want to work with me and I don't want to work with them.

I was annoyed I had to send them measurements to begin with when I selected one of their options that explicitly stated it wasn't necessary. I was more annoyed when the first draft they sent me didn't match the measurements I sent them. Nor did the 2nd.

Every bit of my interaction with them was horrible. Even thinking about it is making my blood boil again.

I was really hoping my experience was the one-off.

Speaking of garbage experiences...

Reefbeauties who I've historically had good experiences with but who was kinda frustrating to me when the last order was delayed a day and I had a single fish that didn't survive and got push back....

Shipped my order tonight for delivery tomorrow. Already got a delay notification from UPS saying it won't be here until Wednesday. Already. what the heck.

Pretty sure this is the last straw with them.

Apparently UPS got their shi together and it's back on track to deliver today. Thankfully.
 
Vacuumed the house, started a sourdough loaf, fed my starter, fed my fish, misted the plants, checked on my phyto/pods, started a bbs batch, waiting on a fish delivery.....

Need to go to the tax collector office to deal with homestead portability today as well.

It's a mix of coffee + crazy. Don't worry, I'll completely crash by 8pm and be miserable.

There's 2 of these, way tinier than expected. Hopefully they stay far away from the tube nem....

Yes, this came today. It's what I ordered from liveaquaria a few weeks ago that arrived DOA - they were out of stock when I went to reorder with my credit but reefbeauties had them in so I ordered from there instead.
