I looked it up, apparently this specific piece is an art display representing the nuclear power of different countries. The biggest chandelier represents USA, and the whole display contains many different chandeliers all different sizes relative to their countries.

Obviously not for regular sale.

I want to try to make one. Beads are available for sale, vintage originals and new stock. I might try to make a lamp.

Also decided to go ahead and do a uv sterilizer on the peninsula as well.

So, plans for the 3 inline are:

UV sterilizer, GFO, ATS

I know me, I feed heavy and pack the tank, and I'm anti-water change - I'll need all that help.

Any ideas on best order though?

My suggestion for the UV would be sure to have a good quality gate valve on it. (Ball valve are more for open or closed not regulating the amount of flow) You need to be able to adjust the flow rate according to what you’re using it for. Example: algae control and parasite control need different flow rates through the UV.

One thing I figured out - just make the outside frame, leak test that, and THEN install the chamber and top

I'm kind of nervous about using my garbage hands. Been trying to wait for a good day but my dumb fingers just keep locking up and I foresee that making this rather difficult.

Using 4 or 16?

They say 16 is forgiving because it's thicker but it also etches the acrylic if you miss whereas 4 is supposed to evaporate.

Use the practice pieces. I made a mess the first few practices and made less of a mess on the actual.

Aluminum extrusion rods came. Hopefully we can get started on building the lighting mount situation soon.

UV sterilizer arrived, planning to try and unpack that today. Have a number of errands to run and need to give Skeletor a bath first though, so we'll see. Also should finish putting together my diy before I start a separate project

I think my main reason for not glueing the diy tank is no place to set it once done. I need to take down my Evo for the real estate, and I keep putting fish in there for observation.

Do you have a plan for yours?
