Okay, tipped the stupid thing on its side and redid the seams laying down. Looks like hot garbage. We'll see how it dries, I'll rotate tonight after work and do the next set :rolleyes:
 
If this looks nasty, I'm researching and buying an already put together pico that actually looks nice and will work with the pump I got :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Are you being sensored? I just got this notification 45 minutes after you posted it, it backtracked me in the thread?

And hey, that 40 step raspberry torte recipe was amazing - added benefit I got to eat it. I don't get to eat the tank.
 
Maybe I'll order some salt and some more LA fish food :thinking-face:

Still need to assemble a light mounting solution but we have the parts for it at least. I suppose I don't need the lights up immediately, tank needs to cycle right?

IDK if I have enough salt left to fill this guy up.

I think I went too light handed w/ the weldon trying not to make a massive mess. Good news - I didn't make a mess initially - it looked great. Just tons of pinhole leaks. Stupid. I'm sure it'll look disgusting once I reseal.

I siliconed the inside and re-Weldoned the outside of the seams.

My last $100 GC was mostly LA fish food. I ordered a mix of reef fusion, coral fusion, freshwater fusion, and krill. The Bettas like the krill but nothing else seems to touch it. Kinda sad because I bought 2 big jars of krill and several small jars of the others.

The krill is the one these guys are all going crazy for, weird

Reseal seems to have done the trick, luckily it's not that bad once there's water in it. Letting it sit a bit to verify before I drain and put in the guts and do the top lip thingy.
