Only bad was they were all hot by the time they got to me. Everything seems to have made it. A couple of the reds are iffy but I think they will be ok

So looking them up, they're moira lethe? I *cannot* find what they look like when still alive... There were tons of them washed up with the tide change. Many damaged... every Google lens result says them, but also tags them to Australia.

Forgot to comment. Yesterday we saw a sea turtle, some very large fish, and a lemon shark. Also sea turtle nesting season officially started, starting to see lots of quarantined spots across the beach.

Good day at Enchanted Forest Sanctuary. Saw some snakes, lots of banana spiders, and a deer. It was thundering the whole time we were there, and we saw no other people until we were leaving - great ambiance.

I wouldn't want to bother her wither. Her hatchlings already have a super bad survival rate.

Yup, luckily she made it all the way up to the dunes to nest & they're all protected and roped off so people can't get up there to begin with. They have people out early every morning marking nests off even more too.
