Cade Chaos Grimoire

1 week to order date if everything continues to go according to plan.

Hoping the lfs has plastic tubs I can borrow/rent - otherwise I'll need to buy those once I have a delivery date set. I'll also order new sand once I have an idea of when tank is coming.

Planning to relocate the filefish and both orange stripe cardinals (they're massive pigs, take whole cubes of food) permanently before the switch over. Still plan to have the canary live in the sump for a little while so I can give nudis one more chance at aiptasia control.

Considering changing the aquascape setup still but not sure how and don't really get to play with it out of water. Any suggestions/recommendations on possibly moving things around? I'll have the same distance across, no weird weir protrusion in the left center, and a little more space front to back...

only thing i can suggest on rescaping is....HAVE FUN...it's what you like.. ;)

Waiting for the buried nem pics, my engineer would have non of that in a doorway! ;)
I'm surprised he hasn't buried it yet, or bulldoged his way through.

Think I might try the pipe trick to pull this weird excuse for a bta from my tank before the transfer ... It hasn't opened in a year, it's obviously not pleased with the location it walked into - but it won't move again. I genuinely don't get how it's alive....

You place a peice of pvc over the anemone so that it craws up into it to get to the light. Not sure how long the pvc needs to be but I think the diameter should be as big as the body is around.

From when it was recommended to me previously, it needs to be long enough that when the nem stretches he can't poke out without actually moving

That makes perfect sense. Also by making it reach it narrows the diameter of the body in theory. I've never tried it have you?

SPAM... (not a bta lol)

If that is the one, try an elbow (45) and then a taller pipe extended from it.. might work?

see it's reflection on the surface 3" up?
not happening. :(
It will climb up in shallow tank. Even if pipe is out of the water. Pipe should be size of nem when retracted and look like below. I use this in the frag tank all the time for splits. This is skimmer adaptor. Hole cut in sponge, so nem can’t walk under pipe use rubber bands to hold sponge to rocks.
