Cade Chaos Grimoire

Thank you. After moving a wall, I had to retile the whole place. Tore my ACL doing it but looks great, especially when clean.
Tiling is next for us, I *hate* the tile in here. Going to do the entire house in one go though.

Tank is doing incredible! tell your husband I said good work on the stand/canopy!!

Also is that Greek salad?
That I was eating? No that was a rice/chicken/black bean bowl. No greens for me

Aiptasia definitely got worse after last treatment. Not really sure what to do.... No one locally or online seems to carry molly miller blennies & filefish always seem to turn to other corals after awhile. Peppermint shrimp have never worked for me. Any other ideas??

What treatments were your trying?

Peppermint scrymps have also not worked for me. I've got a file fish in qt now.

I've tried f-aiptasia, lemon juice, aiptasia-x.
F-aiptasia works the best but not this most recent time apparently.

Peppermints useless (plus the MB will eat them)

Bergs work great, but the canary & MB will eat them now and that's an expensive snack.

My first filefish was useless. My second did fantastic, but then started harassing my zoas and rfas out no nowhere and had to go. I tried a kleini butterfly who was a jerk and had to go.

Given you found something that works, is catching the MB and canary an option? Relocate to holding tank or sump until the bhergs are able to eradicate the issue?

I wish I could find them locally to me I've called 30 stores within 50 miles and nobody has them.

With the amount of time it takes for them to get started - not really a feasible option. Once they get started they're on top of it but it can take a bit. I can't find them locally, But salty underground usually has them shippable.

Kalk or high potassium slurry injected works for me.
The bulk of mine are lower in the tank and it's really hard for me to reach that low. I'm worried about screwing up the tank chemistry if I accidentally let that go astray

Maybe hit 10 heads per day with kalk and monitor params. I've done this a few times with majanos and have never noticed an alk movement because of it.

Worth the trip... I have 4 an hour north, 3 that are 1 hour 15 minutes east, 4 that are 1 hour 20 south, 1 that is 55 minutes west and frank 3.5 hours away... only thing local is petco

quoting an old post but I’m working my way through this thread. You sir, are aware of more LFS’s in Indiana than I am. I request you share this information. For science and great justice
