interesting ..never shot vinegar in tank... ;) @najer never heard of using lo sodium as a dip..at what salinity do you dip at??
Learning day...;Happy

This is approximate, the one I buy is contains 51% KCl, a target figure for Potassium in a tank is around 400, kitchen cookery measuring spoons, I use half a teaspoon in a litre of tank water bumping to 600 - 800, things fly off and things like flatworms basically dissolve, never had an sps react badly but if I had to dip a deepwater smoothskin I would probably do a quarter teaspoon.

don't forget ...post them donuts/meat corals..p.o.t. month..;)
Hmm... Which to use??

It's 2 of them fluffed up so much they're smushed together. I actually have 4 holes open in the rock to add more, just keeping an eye out for some variety.

I've got bags floating again.

Picked up another filefish locally, tiny bugger.

Ordered a "cosmetically damaged" scopas - it's okay buddy, I'm cosmetically damaged as well.

And waiting on my dusky wrasse to arrive, there was a delay in that box arriving to FL, but it's out for delivery by end of day now.

Super active in the drip acclimation bin. This is new for me, came in at 1.029, so I'm dropping slowly instead of raising. Started off almost solid white from stress paling but is starting to color up now. Better Photos soon!

Step one: add nori
Step two: release into tank while other tangs are distracted

success

Scopas is hanging out with the pajama cardinals in the gorgs while the tomini is darting about like a madman trying to figure out what changed. Sailfin & chocolate could care less, nori is more important.
