Got ourselves a nice rain this morning at home before we took off. Walked outside when it paused, reeked of red tide smells. Delightful. Rained the entire 2.5 hr drive to my parents, raining now that we're here. But hey - doesn't smell up here!

Nice sunny day today for husband's birthday. Spent the day swimming with fish at discovery cove

Got back to my parents and Skeletor was so excited to see us he started zooming & slipped and we think broke his toe

I'm wide awake between sleeping somewhere I'm not accustomed to, Matt's snoring, and worrying about the dog. I would have rather driven straight home last night when that happened.

Got some rimadyl for him from my parents dog. Calling the vet when they open. Televet saw photos and recommended ice pack & relax until we can get to vet, but don't panic. Most likely yes a broken or dislocated toe, so painkillers & anti-inflammatories. He's so swollen & so pathetic.
