I absolutely love this tank, so glad I chose to go this way

Honestly half of it is because it's Australian. Visited the great barrier reef on a liveaboard scuba trip for 5 days and toured the country. Once I saw they were a nice product it definitely added to the appeal.

That's amazing. Yes, super solid product, super easy set up, the whole install was very smooth - just heavy!

Getting close to a year since the switchover I think.

To be honest, I'm having better luck with my clip-on filter on the phone. Something with the way these lights run & pick up on my camera they really need that yellow not just the orange.

I have two. The pin cushion is rarely causing problems. The black one spends most of its time in crevices in the rock work. Sometimes it wedges itself between things well enough to knock things apart. Honestly, I should probably sump it and drop it off at the LFS when I get a chance

Is the black one a spiney type?

Love my pincushion homie, but it's destructive. Lights on and it was carrying around a bunch of shells and rocks plus a full size conch and two nass snails yesterday morning.

They weren't pleased.

Team is amazing, I've built them all from the ground up. Promoted 3 assistants to store leaders in the last 2 years (2 of them last year alone). Development is the one thing I'm good at.

New addition? You talking dog? I'll get another retiree ideally. Not until the move though.

Thats awesome. We looked at retiree greyhounds till we found loki.

Good news, Ruby seems happy with new placement. Engineer had a conniption fit last night because it kinda blocks one of his 4 entrances

Added another minute of feeding to the plank routine, noticed them all hanging out around it like they were still hungry.

1 additional feeding seems to be the key so far. My marine betta is out and about in the light way more often, love it. Zoas that were buried under the ruby seem happy for light exposure. RFA that was over there still looks furious.

Things my husband has learned over the last few years of me reefing:
1. If the power goes out turn the skimmer switch off immediately.
2. Don't question the weird things in the top basket of the refrigerator door.

And now:
If the power goes off check the 2nd filter sock cover thing and fix that so that when the power comes back on the water is going through the roller again.

Having him work from home is very helpful.

Top basket is mine, 2nd is his. There's all kinds of yeast packets and random beer brewing stuff in his. Mine has an assortment of tank stuff & superglue
