Cade Chaos Grimoire

It ate from my fingers on full day one with me, I spend a lot of time watching fish and their interactions with each other as well as natural eating habits and preferred foods, shake your head side to side like you would at a baby, smile and blow lip kisses, I am not a fish whisperer as someone once said but I do know how stressed and happy fish react. :)

Your the reason my fish eat out of my hands. You are a fish whisper
However, I am currently barricaded onto the couch

How can you resist those eyes.

@danieyella what pellets do you feed. I'm asking for a local reefer.
A mixture of Dr bassleer acai & chlorella pellets and Cobalt Marine pellets, i also mix that up with V2O marine veggie flakes.

I've also used all varieties of nyos pellets with success. They're softer.

Edit: my fish are not picky. I do a variety and tend to pick something different each time. I try to make sure there's something veggie mixed in. The feeder currently has that mix with Avast's reef jerky, and a little of pretty much anything else dry I had on hand.

So the bad LFS is asking $980 for a 10g acrylic tank with an ai, a $60 sicce return, one rock, and about $200 max for the “included corals” ($200 for a leather).

all of my what the heck

Oh my.... My 180 customish tank cost less than that.....

yeah…that’s why I’m all let’s start a crusade reaction to this. I don’t want to start one. But what the ****
Hold on scooter! Don't get me wrong, I am a green bleeding capitalist. If that's the market price on already set up gear, I do not know. I know a restaurant tour friend of mine was just looking at having 75 gallon 4 ft tanks in the lobby of all his restaurants, his general quoting was 15,000 set up and 500 a month maintenance..

Some bored working from home insurance salesman might think that's a great deal and that brings them into the hobby and someday they fine the secret Sauce

Speaking of custom tanks....

Matt decided we're doing a centerpiece seahorse/softy (or macro) tank with a table built around it in the new house. Not an eating at table, more of a charcuterie serving counter table type thing. He is currently working out the electric in his head because he wants it to be IN THE MIDDLE OF NOTHING in the new house. Like an island.

We'll see about this

I can get you a leather. That looks much nicer than that one.

If he wants to brainstorm with somebody who understands both the tank side and the wood side I'm HAPPY to play!

We got like a year and change to see what else this ends up developing into. I'll put y'all in contact with we hit that point.

I'm sure he'll have plenty of developments to this idea between now and then.

Oh crap you're going to end up with a seven-sided 1000g tank in the middle of your room...

Full day off! The sun is actually out today, took Skeletor on a nice long walk. Waiting for coffee to brew now. What's on my agenda for today.....

Looking back through old photos. While literally everything else looks better now, my zoas had more vibrant coloration & growth under the viparspectras. Wondering if my best course of action is adding t5s or the lumen bars reefbreeders offers or if just tweaking settings even more will fix it.... Any additions would be in the further future.

Lights have 6 channels. White, red, green, Violet, cool blue, Royal blue. Not sure which to mess with first....

Are your channels in the same order as mine, what do you have each channel set at at maximum?
Out for a bit so tag me to remind me. ;)

@najer Getting ready for work so I'll grab better specifics later, 8am-930pm with heavy ramp down frame. My cool/Royal/violet peak at 75% for like an hour in the afternoon, sit around 60 most of the day. Whites at 10-15 most of the day and red/green at like 7. The whites are high enough to cut that Windex color out of the water.
