So I was expecting delivery of my Cade 600 tomorrow. However, I’ve just received an email from the supplier saying the tank is damaged and they are unable to ship it and they have no more stock. However, new stock is arriving on the 16th March and that the new stock is actually a newer version of the cade s2 ?

His words:

New doors, hinges, returns valves etc ?

Is this true struggling to find any info at all that the s2 600 has had a recent upgrade.

Thanks

Interesting! Keep us posted when it arrives.
I'm sorry to hear about the damage though... how frustrating!!

I love my 600 S2.
Get on over to FB and join the Cade groups. Maybe you can get an answer there?
Let us know if you find out anything. :)

Yeah, very frustrating. I had a lot of stuff planned/ordered in anticipation for tomorrow. But the idea of it being a 'newer model' has softened the blow. I would love to find out if this is even the case.

That was my first thought, as I'm sure I saw a post on here of someone praising the FB group and that the owner gets back to customer questions pretty quickly. Unfortunately, I don't have FB

Quick edit:

Just noticed I followed yours and Shadyraros build threads hence the reason I bought the tank in the first place. Great set up your tank looks beautiful and inspired me. I will be creating my own thread soon as I receive delivery

Love my 600cade, hate my wooden cabinet on my 130.4 waterbox.
I totally agree with you DiazE. I just bought a CADE 600 S2 today, while considering a Waterbox Marine X 60.2. The main tipping point for me was the lousy MDF cabinets on my Waterbox Eden X. The CADE cabinets seem to be really superior. A little pricier, but I will pay for quality.

Enjoy your Cade, love mine and will get a bigger one in the future.

I agree with others who have responded. I've been running a PR900 for 3+ years and it has been perfect.
Great quality system.

Well the my tank arrived today

I’ll report in once I’ve opened it all up and see if there is in fact any small “upgrades” to speak of

If I recall, the series 2 has been available for a few years. The only thing I could find online were some youtube videos. For the frame on the PR900, the trim detail looked different. I'm sure there are some valve updates that you mentioned -- CADE website mentioned Series 2 valve -- and a different layout for the sump.

Shipping box looks similar :)

Good luck on the setup!!

Have you opened it yet?

Let’s see it out of the box and into the wild! You’re going to love the cade system. I recently setup my Cade 900 s2 and love it.
