I have a 39gal bowfront like the one you are talking about. The tank is nice. I think it works best as a low flow tank. The all in one design dowsn't lend itself to well to a large return pump which is limiting. The refugium section in mine works pretty well. I have cheato in there with a very fine sand bed. I have a very large population of pods that support my mandarin. The tank sprung a leak at the bottom seam a few months back and I had to drain it and reseal it. The low iron glass is visually very nice but be careful as it scratches easily. Cadlights customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I've contacted them twice now for service, once for acrylic tabs to support the folding lid, and again for replacement led pods for the light fixture. Both times required multiple calls to get anyone to answer the phone, and shipping was extremely slow and expensive. The last time they charged me for priority shipping, but the product was backordered so it took a couple of weeks to show up to their warehouse, then they shipped it snail mail to me. It would have been nice to get information on the backorder.
In summary, its a nice tank that supports my BTA's, mushrooms, leather, and mandarin. But I will never buy anything directly from cadlights again.
