Cal, Alk, and Mag useage

This is my first tank and I just added my first corals a week ago. I added quite a bit because I was pretty confident with my water parameters. I added everything 8 days ago. Total of about 50 frags, With a mix of SPS, LPS, zoas, and a clam. My question is, how much cal alk and mag will small frags use? I haven't noticed any change at all in parameters. Everything has great color and PE. Didn't know if I should expect a drop in levels or not? My system is 250 gal dKh 9, Cal 400, Mag 1400

You should see a slow increase of cal/alk useage over the next few days and week as the coals acclimate.
I would assume once they do and and you get more robust growth they will consume more and more.

But in that water volume and they being small frags the change should be minimal.

Just test the usage as you go.

I'd get bumping that calcium to 420-440 so when it does drop you'll catch it around 400.
