As usual I have one gallon amounts for sale of all 4 of the BRS 2-Part dosing system. Yes, all 4 parts even though it's a 2-Part system according to BRS. 1 for CAL, 1 for ALK, and 2 parts to mix up the MAG solution.

Anywho, I have each gallon bag to sell for $15 a piece. Please let me know if you need any and I can get them to someone who is going to the meeting this weekend or you can PM me and we can work something out to meet up somewhere.

I am not trying to make any money off of this deal, I just buy the additives in 5 gallon quantities and sell them to the club members for what I paid. Basically when you buy in bulk you save $$$

Here is a newbie question for you ... when do I need to start 2-part dosing?

My coral are all new small frags and I do weekly 10% water changes and my water params are very steady (aside from phosphates that I am working on).
cal 440, alk 8.5, mag 1350, salinity 1.0265, nitrate 0 (api), ph 8.1, temp 80.

I was thinking I didn't need to dose 2-part until my calc and alk start to drop (as corals grow bigger) inbetween water changes, is that a correct assumption?

You are correct. Mine levels all stayed the same as yours while I had small frags and was performing weekly water changes. All of a sudden one day I saw my purple monti bleaching so I checked my Params and my cal was in the low 300's. that prompted me to start dosing!

I would raise your salinity slowly up to at least 1.024-1.025. Your corals will like that better

Yes I figured my salinity was to high at almost 1.027 , when I mix up my buckets they state 35 / 1.026 and then I let them sit a few days. I probably should mix at 1.024.

Jay (Smyrnareefer) will be acting dope man tomorrow if anyone decides last minute they need some additives. He will have a one gallon bag of each additive. Please see him if you are interested. If you forget just PM me and we can work out a time and place to meet up!
