hi,
Along time ago i used to have a nitrate reactor that ran into a calcium reactor, they ran off my power head ( from the bit you usually connect the air hose to) and dripped back into the tank . like this but 1 nitrate (yellow balls ) and 1 calcium chips.

Also it was a hang on unit. same principle as this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nitrate-...590297?hash=item562be49d99:g:iR0AAOSwbqpTvpV~
I am wondering if these are still viable as it seemed to work well all those years ago.
i have done a google and cant find many twin units that hang on for a 150 litre tank. ( mine used to be for 225 litre).
does anyone know where to source them or how to diy them ?
thanks mark

Looks like a mini sulfur denitrator, so many advancements in the hobby since then. May I ask why you would want to employ one?
What size tank are you wanting to use it on?

I used to have one that ran the denitrate into calcium and i seemed to have good results as far as nitrate goes, and i imagine they are handy for phos etc aswell with different media ,
i was thinking of making a few diy ones as i enjoy that sort of thing , also my tank is 30 gal ,
