Calcium at 700's with out dosing.

Tested my calcium and alkalinity. Alkalinity is perfect but my calcium is at 750 with out dozing anything. New tank went up on 1/6 /23 live dry rock sand bed. Using RPM for salt and two canisters with ceramic media and took some live rock and broke it into pieces to use as media in filters. All other parameters are good. Maybe live dry rock bleaching calcium?

Calcium carbonate rocks are not releasing that sort of calcium amounts.

Have you tried the kit on some new salt water?

Are you topping off with tap water?

Yeah and even my LFS texted it with a Hanna and same resulta. Using RODI for top off.

Just did. And it's at 460

If the new salt water is 460 ppm calcium, and the tank is 700 ppm calcium for unexplained reasons, I'd just bring it down with your regular water changes, maybe accelerated a bit. Maybe you previously had a bad batch of salt.
