Calcium buildup? ?

I dose two part and have my tubing in a holder above the waterline in my sump.over time I get a buildup of what must be calcium directly under the tubing on the wall of my sump.why is this happening?tank is very stable ,now I am concerned about the amount I'm dosing after removing the block
 
It is normal for there to be some precipitate when high pH solutions hot the tank water. More flow and slower addition help.
