Calcium chloride flake

I have been looking for dow flake but can not find any. I found a bag of other flake that has specs as follows:
Calcium chloride 83-87%
Potassium chloride 2-3%
Water 8-14%
Sodium chloride 1-%

Will this work at all? I forget the brand name

Generally, one cannot tell purity from label specs since it doesn't list the things we'd be most interested in knowing (such as toxic metals).

Sorry, I've not heard of anyone using that brand. It may be fine, but it is not easy to know in advance.

A number of folks have used Leslies Pool Supply brand, but the bulk materials from BRA and other places are perhaps a better bet.
