Calcium Chloride

I have a bag of SWI industrial strength ice melt- SWI also distributes Prestone.
I looked up the MSDS and ingredients are Sodium Chloride, Calcium Chloride and Magnesium chloride but no percentage are noted since it is propreitary.

Should I use??

Definitely not. It is a blended ice melt product containing multiple compounds. It is not simply calcium chloride.

thanks. I always use hardness plus from Leslie pool but I have two bags of the ice melt for my driveway from last winter. was just asking..

I wrote the company they said it's 90% pure minimum what the other 10% is no clue. Might be anything dirt metals who knows. But swi wrote me back and that's what they said . Maybe if they said 96% minimum I would take a chance.
