Hey @Randy Holmes-Farley. Quick question. I dont have enough calcium chloride for 2 part receipe of 2 and 1/2 cups. Was wondering if can mix half and still achieve same potency of solution (1 1/4 cups to 1/2 gallon)

Yes, you can scale both the solute and solvent of a solution proportionally and get the same concentration as the original recipe.

Hi Randy and Happy Holidays...

I don't want to put a new thread on Calcium so i joined on this one. Sorry OP.

I have been always using BRS Calcium but to be honest the shipping cost to PR has got way to expensive so i bought this Food Grade Calcium Chloride at Amazon and will like to know if it is safe to use and at what ratio to be used in the mix?

I assume should be equal to the BRS stuff but just want to be sure.
