Hi Randy.. Hope everything is OK. Just want to confirm if i can use this Calcium Chloride to replace the BRS Calcium Chloride as the shipping from them to PR is way to expensive and i am looking for a substitute from Amazon (Food Grade).

Also if it works, will the measurement be the same as BRS (2 1/2 Cup per gallon)?

If it is is CaCl, it is CaCl. The Amazon CaCl might not be as strong as the brs stuff though. I don’t see why not.

It should be fine. I cannot be sure if it is anhydrous it’s not. Mix some in fresh water and see if it gets warm. If not, use per my recipe directions. If it gets warm, use 20% less.
