I have brightwell aquatics reef code a&b calcium and alkalinity additive. No matter which one I dose with I get some "snow". I have been reading some on the issue but still not sure what's going on. My calcium is in the low 300s and I lost the color card for alkalinity test. All other parameters are good. What is the cause, and how do I get this to stop and my calcium up? I have a frogspawn, hammer, duncan, birdsnest, and gonoporia. I need calcium levels up, but last 2 times I have dosed I had a snow storm.

Don't dose anything else until you get a decent alk test ( I highly suggest Hanna, if not Salifert) and a Mag ( Salifert or Red Sea).

All other parameter are good: Nope need numbers, let us help you. :D

The tank looks fairly young so dosing should not be a huge issue yet.

I had coraline growing crazy and now it has slowed down. I been reading with all the calcium dependent coral I have I need it higher.
