Calcium drop?

So last week calcium was around 430

Started dosing seachem reef plus-only change to tank


Today my calcium was 75


Using salifert calcium testing kits-have always used these kits

Any idea what would cause the drastic drop

Alkalinity 8-8.4

Nitrates-10-20

Didnt check phosphates or mag

???

That’s a large drop. I didnt think it was possible to get that low (but I am not an expert)

My thoughts would be testing error, but I am sure you double checked. Then maybe an old text kit?

Not sure but fairly certain it is a testing issue. Get a second opinion by a LFS to see what they get

Tested around 450

Glad it worked. Not an idiot by any means. All of us have run into similar predicaments
