Calcium high due to salt mix

Hi, there. Looking for some help and recommendations. My calcium readings have been high (500-530) as long as I've had my tanks set up (just a few months) and I finally figured out today that I should check my freshly mixed saltwater!

Here's the info from today's testing for my BioCube 16 (I also have a 69-gallon RedSea tank with almost identical parameters). I'm using Salifert test kits but those color-matching ones are ridiculously hard to read.

Temp: 78
Salinity 1.025
Alk: 8.9
pH: 8.3
Phosphate: 0.25 (looks like this is way high as well)
Mag: 1370
Nitrate: 10
Calcium: 528

I'm using Coralife Marine Salt Mix. Should I switch to a different salt gradually or is it fine to have the calcium this high? Thanks!

Ehh, calcium that high doesn't really seem to bother anything. Having said that it makes your window of error smaller. I was using a high magnesium, high calcium salt and then switched. I would prefer to stay closer to the mean of what's acceptable and just dose alk/calcium as needed. Whatever works in nature seems to do ok in our boxes, when it comes to these levels. People will always try to tweak parameters, but I'd rather do that separate from my waterchanges.

Having said all that, if the tank is rocking let it be. Switching salts can be fun, but doesn't seem to make a huge obvious difference.
