I want too raise PH with not raising KH. So I would cal. hydroxide is that correct? I was looking on E-bay which one to buy? thanks Ed

No. There are no chemicals that can be added to raise pH and not alkalinity. It is a chemical impossibility.

If you want to raise pH and not change alkalinity, you must remove carbon dioxide from the system. That can be done a variety of ways, such as by driving more photosynthesis (e.g., macroalgae in a refugium), bringing in more fresh air to your room air, or reducing CO2 out of the air coming to a skimmer inlet (using outside air or a CO2 scrubber).
