I currently dose Brightwell calcion-p, alkalin 8.3, Magnesion, and trace elements. I have to do this the old fashioned way beause I do not have an ATO or dosing pumps. My tank evaporates about a gallon a day so at the beginning of the week I usually just bring 2 5 gallon buckets up stairs for the coming week and than dose every night or every other night, per the directions.

Would it be advisable to add the calcium solution doses directly into the buckets to eliminate a step? Being a dry supplement this would make things much easier, as I would only have to dose the other two liquid supplements with my syringes.

Sure, that is fine, although I'd be more inclined to do it with the alkalinity supplement, and not even bother to dose calcium every day as it likely isn't needed that often. The magnesium can be dosed much less than once a week.

Wow that was fast, thank you. I will give this a shot, and just premix enough of the calcium for the week. Until I pony up the dough for said equipment any shortcuts I can take will help me stay on point with maintenance.
