I tested my water today and my calcium was at 360 while my kH was at 8... all the rest of my parameters are good and stable..
could the alkalinity be causing my zoas to be closed? and how can I safely raise both Calcium + kH? I'm running a stock light on my 13.5g fluvo.
I also noticed my hammer coral isn't opening up like it was a month back, I tried moving it to a different spot but it's staying the same.. best way to explain is like halfway open, it's opened up but not how I'm used to seeing it. I had a salinity slip up a week ago, but do soft corals really take this long to bounce back?

You can raise your values with water changes or dosing.
The softies shouldnt have cared too much about it being low the lps, hammer, definately will.

Those Cal & Alk numbers are fine, what’s your nitrate and phosphate? Stock lighting on the 13 isn’t going to work for most corals.

I agree. 8 is fine for alk but raise the calcium a bit to the low 400's . Water changes should work, no need to dose.
Lighting is prob your issue . Santa is comming maybe if you wish for a new light.....
