For months now I have been using the Hanna Calcium checker and it has been reading anywhere from 525 to over 600. Most of the time it blink 600 which means it is reading higher than 600! I got a Seachem Calcium Kit and it is show my calcium to be 450. I double checked both tests to be sure of consistency. Can a Hanna be off that much???

test the dilute water you used.. you want to make sure that water has no calcium in it as well because that can throw off your test. get some distilled water and that might help in getting a better reading.

OK, I will do that. I use RO/DI water with 0 TDS, but I will test it.
