Calcium level

Is it normal for my toadstool coral
It was looks good this morning then after I added 2capful of calcium this happened
Any advise
My calcium level was 480
Mg level was 1440

You added two capfuls and by your calculations how should that affect the calcium level in your tank? Was 480 the starting measurement prior to addition.

I have had a leather shed it’s polyps completely. They curled up and fell off. The coral recovered but it was a scary moment.

Thank God it start to recover now
