I was wondering how much water do you push through your calcium reactor?

I was looking to pick up kamoer FX-STP peristaltic continuous duty dosing pump which doses 1ml to 120ml/min. Would I ever need to exceed 120mls/min? Otherwise I was thinking about picking up one of the medical grade dosing pumps which can do more but it’s bigger and more expensive.

I’m running a 225g mainly SPS reef tank

Thanks in advance

I run the continuous flow method with my calcium reactor running 60ml/min through a kamoer. I wouldn’t run it at 120ml because it may get a little noisy but it is an awesome pump.

Note: I pull through my reactor not push

0.2 :( I've been fixing some issues, partially due to erroneous test kits.

Sad to hear! Hope you get over it soon. With such low consumption your SPS are likely not doing so well [emoji51].

So if we can extrapolate, for a daily consumption of 1,5dKH you would need to dose some 140.000ml daily, or above 90ml per minute... close to the pump max 120ml/min.
